z/VM & Linux Performance Workshops and Seminars

Velocity Software offers z/VM and Linux performance workshops on a regular basis. The workshops are 4 days of education covering all performance aspects of z/VM and Linux on System z environments. Further information and schedules can be found on our workshop description page.

We also offer a single-day Performance Seminar that is a high level preformance, and product usage overview.

The workshops are appropriate for both experts and novices, who must manage performance, capacity planning and/or operations of Linux under z/VM. Intense use of Velocity Software's zVPS (Velocity Performance Suite) is used - as it is the only solution available that meets many of the operational requirements or running Linux under z/VM.

The seminars are appropriate for both experts and novices, and though not a product presentation demonstrates Velocity Software's Velocity Performance Suite, zVPS. The seminars are free covering basics of what all installations require to implement Linux on z/VM.
